Window Cleaning in Shaver Lake

Shaver Lake's trusted window cleaning crew

People buy at Shaver Lake for the trees and the water, and the windows are how you see both. They also take more abuse than most Valley glass. Every spring the pines release clouds of yellow pollen that coat panes, sills and screens. Needles and sap specks drift onto upper windows, and winter leaves a gray film of dried snowmelt and splash on the lower ones. Many cabins and A-frames have tall, peaked walls of glass facing the lake or the forest, and those are hard to reach with a household ladder on sloped, uneven ground.

We clean each pane by hand or with a water-fed pole that delivers purified water, which lets us reach high glass from the ground and dries without mineral spots. Frames and sills get wiped down. Tracks on windows and sliding doors are vacuumed and scrubbed, because pine debris and dead bugs pile up in them fast, and screens come off to be washed before they go back on. If you want the inside done too, someone will need to let us in. Exterior-only visits usually don’t need anyone on site, as long as we can get to the property.

Timing matters at elevation. Many owners book once the spring pollen has settled and again in fall before the snow, or right before family arrives for a holiday weekend. Snow can make decks and paths unsafe, so winter visits depend on the weather and the road, and we’ll work with you on a date that makes sense. We also clean glass for lodges, shops and offices in the village. Ducky’s is based in Fresno and Clovis. We’re licensed and insured, estimates are free, and if a window isn’t right when we leave, we’ll come back and fix it.

What's included

Why Shaver Lake chooses Ducky's

Built for Shaver Lake properties

Spring pine pollen

The pines coat Shaver Lake glass, screens and sills in yellow pollen each spring. A cleaning after it settles brings the view back.

Tall A-frame glass

Water-fed poles with purified water reach high, peaked windows from the ground, so nobody has to balance a ladder on a slope.

Tracks full of needles

Needles, dust and bugs collect in window and slider tracks. We vacuum and scrub them so the whole window looks finished.

Owners who aren't here

Part-time owner? Exterior glass can usually be done while you're down the hill. Interior cleaning just needs someone to let us in.

Our process

How our window cleaning works

01

Walkthrough and prep

We confirm which windows, tracks and screens are included, move small items out of the way, and protect floors and furniture before any water or cleaning solution comes near your home.

02

Screens and tracks

Screens are removed, matched to their windows and washed. Tracks are vacuumed to pull out loose dirt and bugs, then scrubbed and wiped so sliders and windows look clean and open smoothly.

03

Glass, frames and sills

Each pane is scrubbed and finished with a squeegee, or cleaned with a water-fed pole and purified water. Frames and sills are wiped down so the entire window looks finished, not just the glass.

04

Final check and reinstall

Clean screens go back on their windows, and we walk the job looking for streaks or missed spots. If anything isn’t right, we take care of it before we pack up and leave.

FAQ

Window Cleaning in Shaver Lake FAQs

Don’t see your question? Give us a call — we’re happy to help.

Usually, yes. We use water-fed poles that deliver purified water to high glass, so we can clean peaked and second-story windows from the ground in most cases. Where a ladder is needed, we set it carefully on uneven or sloped ground. Tell us about the windows when you call and we’ll plan the visit around them.

Many owners wait until the spring pollen drops off, since cleaning in the middle of it means a fresh yellow coat within days. Late spring or early summer, and again in fall before the snow, are common choices. If you’re hosting a holiday weekend, a cleaning shortly before guests arrive works well too.

Not for exterior windows, as long as we can reach the property and get around the house safely. Interior cleaning requires someone to let us in, whether that’s you, a neighbor or your property manager. We’ll go over access, gates and pets when you book so the visit goes smoothly.

Yes. We clean glass for shops, restaurants, lodges, offices and vacation rentals. Since we work 7 days a week from 5am to 10pm, we can often fit a cleaning between guest stays or before you open for the day. Call (559) 492-0155 for a free estimate.
