Holiday lights for your Shaver Lake cabin

Few places look more like the holidays than Shaver Lake after a snowfall, with lights glowing along a cabin roofline under the pines. Getting them up is another matter. Steep cabin roofs, tall gables, decks built over slopes and icy ground make hanging lights yourself risky, and doing it on a short weekend visit eats up time you’d rather spend with family. Waiting until the snow arrives makes it harder still. We handle the planning, ladders and installation, and seasonal take-down is available if you want the lights removed afterward.

There are two ways to go. Holiday lighting is installed for the season along rooflines, trees and walkways, in classic warm white, bold colors or a custom design. Permanent lighting is mounted along the roofline with a clean, low-profile look and stays up year-round, so it’s ready for winter holidays, the Fourth of July or a summer birthday at the lake. Before we install anything, we talk through the look you want, which trees and rooflines to light and where your outdoor outlets are. Afterward we test the finished display and walk through it with you.

At elevation, timing is everything. Booking in September or October gives you the widest choice of dates and a better chance of an install before the roof is covered in snow. Clean gutters make a better base for lights, so many owners pair the install with a fall gutter clean-out in one trip. Lodges, restaurants and shops in the village can light up their storefronts for the winter season too.
