Window Cleaning in Bass Lake

Bass Lake's trusted window cleaning crew

People buy a place at Bass Lake for the view, and the windows are what frame it. Then spring pollen settles on every pane, pine pitch and tiny bits of bark stick to the glass, and spiders build webs in the corners of the frames. Cabins with big picture windows and sliding doors out to the deck show it most. We clean each pane by hand, wipe the frames and sills, and use a water-fed pole with purified water on tall glass, so it dries without spots and we can reach high gable windows from the ground. The glass looks clearest right after a cleaning, which is why so many owners time it for opening weekend.

Mountain homes also hide dirt in places you don’t look. Window tracks fill with needles, dead bugs and grit, and screens turn gray after a season under the pines. We vacuum and scrub the tracks, then take the screens down, wash them and put them back. Winter adds its own film of dust and moisture, so a cleaning once the snow is gone makes the biggest difference. Inside glass gets the same attention, which does need someone to let us in, so we plan a time that works for you.

A lot of our Bass Lake customers don’t live here full time. Owners of second homes and vacation rentals often book a window cleaning before the busy summer weeks or ahead of a holiday weekend, so guests arrive to a clear view of the lake. We’re based in Fresno and Clovis, and we make the drive up the hill for cabin owners, year-round residents and rental hosts. We’re licensed and insured, estimates are free, and every job comes with our 100% satisfaction guarantee. If a window isn’t right, we come back and make it right.

What's included

Why Bass Lake chooses Ducky's

Built for Bass Lake properties

Spring pollen on glass

Yellow pollen coats the windows around the lake every spring. We wash it off by hand so the glass is clear again.

Pitch, bark and webs

Pine pitch, bark flecks and cobwebs gather on glass and frames. We scrub each pane and wipe the sills and frames.

Tall cabin windows

Many cabins have high gables and wide picture glass. A water-fed pole lets us reach them safely from the ground.

Second homes and rentals

Away most of the year? Book exterior work without being there, and set a time for the inside panes when someone can let us in.

Our process

How our window cleaning works

01

Walkthrough and prep

We confirm which windows, tracks and screens are included, move small items out of the way, and protect floors and furniture before any water or cleaning solution comes near your home.

02

Screens and tracks

Screens are removed, matched to their windows and washed. Tracks are vacuumed to pull out loose dirt and bugs, then scrubbed and wiped so sliders and windows look clean and open smoothly.

03

Glass, frames and sills

Each pane is scrubbed and finished with a squeegee, or cleaned with a water-fed pole and purified water. Frames and sills are wiped down so the entire window looks finished, not just the glass.

04

Final check and reinstall

Clean screens go back on their windows, and we walk the job looking for streaks or missed spots. If anything isn’t right, we take care of it before we pack up and leave.

FAQ

Window Cleaning in Bass Lake FAQs

Don’t see your question? Give us a call — we’re happy to help.

It depends on the trees around your place and how you use it. Many owners like a cleaning in late spring after the pollen, and a second one in fall or before guests arrive. Homes right under pines may want more. We can suggest a schedule after seeing your windows.

Often, yes, for the outside. We just need access to the property and an outdoor spigot, and we’ll confirm details when you book. Interior glass, tracks and screens that sit inside need someone there to let us in, so we pick a time together.

Light pitch and sap usually come off during a regular cleaning. Hardened, built-up spots can take extra effort, so we look first and tell you what to expect before we start. We take care not to scratch the glass.

Yes. High gable windows and tall picture glass are common here. We use a water-fed pole with purified water, plus ladders where it makes sense, to clean them safely. Sliding doors and French doors to the deck are included too.
